The Lightning, The Mirror And The Vinegar

When i was young, my mother would always tell to put shade in the mirror when lightning is happening. She said the mirror will magnetize the lightning and will enter the house. She will also put some vinegar in the bottle cup in every window and doors to block the lightning in entering the house.
Superstitious belief. But sometimes it help us.

I have never heard of these beliefs. I'm sure it's a good way to help comfort children during a thunderstorm. I don't think this would actually work, since the lightning isn't going to instantly be drawn to the mirror and vineger does nothing for lightning.

@ilocosboy It's a nice memory to have, though. I wish that my mother would have told me things like this throughout my childhood. It's kind of a fun personal thing to grow up with.
