Bring it on Winter... well not really.

We've finally got a guy round to deal with the trees we were worried about. Winter before last a tree just snapped and fell, luckily not on our house or the house next door. Really fell perfectly between the two.
In any case, we had been worried about a few other trees in our backyard. They are pine trees and old ones at that. "It's a Small World Afterall." My aunt and uncle hooked us up with a guy who is actually the fiance of our next door neighbor's daughter.
So he came out, and he climbed the trees, chopping the limbs as he went. I don't think I could be in that profession.
Now we have to figure out what to do with all the wood left over. We have a fireplace but we don't use it, we've got family who might could, and I have a sister who has a wood stove as well, she may be able to use it if my family can't.
So I've not really had much to discuss lately but thought I'd update you guys on this. We've been nervous with the trees around us for quite some time now.

Definitely! Our winters aren't always harsh, but no worries about snow weighing the trees down. Now that they are gone, there is no worries about windy conditions doing the same.

You'd be surprised. When that tree fell? It took my brother in law three or four months to come out and do anything about it!!

You could sell the wood. Glad you got the limbs taken care of.

THey are old, and weak. One fell last year and narrowly mised the house.
