My plans for Memorial Day tomorrow

We usually get together at my parents house for a dinner together. My nephew has had Pharyngitis so I am not sure if we are planning to get together or not. I bought some soda and watermelon in case. I plan to make cucumber sandwiches as well as whatever food my children want to eat since they are so picky. We are down to only one dull light in this living room. Two of the pull cords on the wall lights have broke now. When my dad was staying here we still had two lights and it was so dark he couldn't see the keys to type so he was using a flashlight lol. I don't look at the keys when I type so I don't mind the darkness. I plan to take apart one of the lights tomorrow and see if I can put a new pull cord in it. There is a short parade in town that I will be taking my kids to. I hope to get time to paint the computer room ceiling as you know I STILL have not gotten time to get it done. As soon as I do that I can get rid of this old computer and hook up the new one and put everything back in the computer room. Crossing my fingers I will get time soon.
