Fleas must DIE!

So, last night the roomie decided that we needed to treat the house, cats, dogs and yard for fleas. Fine... but I needed to muck out the catio a bit and a few other things. We ran to Lowe's and got the stuff we needed to treat the yard and house. The house will be bug bombs. Then we went over and got flea treatment for 6 cats and 3 dogs. When we got home, we went out to the catio with a shovel and I started cleaning out the mud and cat stuff. I filled up a cat litter bucket and a half and then I had to stop. We contacted our guy friend, J, to help with the actual spreading of the poisons. First thing I had to do was run the cats out of the catio and shut the windows they use for access. One goes up and down, that was pretty easy, but the other one has had a board with a door that slides sideways. That one has been open for 10ish years. After I got the cats inside, I had to go in and use a step stool to get on the counter so I could close it. That was hard. I had to hold onto the window and the counter top fridge to get myself up on to the counter top. Then I had to get down, again. I managed it. After I stood by and try to keep the dogs from "helping" by getting to close to the screening. We went in and rested for a bit before we tackled the yard. J got the front yard covered. I did behind most of the sheds, but didn't get the whole back yard. Still, we did what we could and tomorrow morning we are setting off the flea bombs in the house after we throw the lot of cats out onto the catio and put the hamster on top of the hot tub on the other side of the house.
