Is palm oil also good for oil pulling?

I need to change the oil I use in oil pulling to a cheaper one. I have been using olive oil and virgin coconut oil for years now. They are I think 10x more expensive than palm oil. I need to save more money so I'll use palm oil instead.

I've not heard of oil pulling before but I wish you well with it.

Hi, @simone10! When I first heard about it in one local TV program, I was really so curious especially because the host of the program seemed not interested in oil pulling. I made I research to satisfy my curiosity. I never thought I'll do oil pulling right after my research.

@simone10 yea It gets rid of bad breath, I feel cleaner and refreshed after oil pulling, and it somehow helps treat the sensitivity of my teeth.

Have never tried palm oil. I only used VCO for oil pulling regularly a year or so ago. I rarely do it these days. Another oil I tried is olive oil as well and it's too thick for my taste. Maybe you can also try sunflower oil. Flavor is kinda nutty of course but it's just something maybe you can try. Not sure abt the price though.

@wittynet Well the results were positive all right. I just didn't feel like doing it anymore.

@owstalaga, why did you stop? Didn't you see any positive results? I'll try sunflower oil as soon as I see one. I read in one article that coconut oil is the best because it has a quality of soap that aids in cleaning dirt.

@wittynet I'm really glad that the extra virgin olive oil here has gone in price .. I use it for cooking as well.. It's understandable that it's expensive there because it's imported.. but if you are only using it for pulling, it will last you for a quite a while..

well, palm oil makes your appetite stronger some how as I experience it everyday. I combat it with water.

Yes. So I'll use palm oil for cooking and for oil pulling . I need to separate them so as not to confuse one with the other. Do you also oil pull, @softbabe44? Are you also a member of WA? Your username looks familiar.
