Hi Mylot Friends, We are manufacturing 130 Millions of tonnes of paper per year, but only 26 percent of paper going for recycling. It is very very less when comparing with developing countries, we are importing nearly 40 Millions tonnes of waste paper from European countries and America which costs us 37500 Million Rupees. To decrease the import of waste paper from other countries a site "Used2useful" was started in Bangalore by Girish Reddy from V.kota of Andhra Pradesh. He is collecting old books, news papers and used books and providing new books in several languages or new note books also. At present this service is available only in Bangalore and soon this system will be launched in some other states of India. I am providing the link of this site, this is not referral link

Great idea..that too barter system. They exchange old paper or books with new books, great. Hope this increases recycling and spreads all over India
