What a Buy

I bought the base of this lamp at a yard sale a while ago but hadn't found a shade I liked to go with it until this morning at a garage sale.
The base was $3 and the shade was $4 which I think for a lamp is a really good buy.
I don't really like what the stores have and besides they are way to expensive.
Have you ever bought a lamp and shade at a sale and been happy with them.
Right now the lamp is sitting on top of a portable heater, I need to move the end table back into place.

When I moved up here I called Salvation army to come and pick up some furniture I had and they were so nice, they took everything I wanted to go.

@Marcyaz often I get them used at salvation army and recover, or do something too. the one in the room right now I cover in stickers lol, like 70s art

All but the lamps I got from my parent's home were all gotten at thrift stores.

I am not sure I own a lamp that was not purchased used. I have a couple of shades that came new, but my favorite actually came from a liquidation store and was very cheap. I really like your lamp.
