Mylotters friends, a week ago, I've told you about the conference that I'm going to this weekend. And now it's here. With a cross of anxious nerves and a sore throat, I'm gearing up to knock out my verbal pitch for Venom with an agent I never cold queried before in 5.5 years. With a couple of last minute tweaks to my query and practiced dry runs, I'm just about to good to go. So I'm hoping that this agent will ask for a partial or a full in person. Wherever you are at 11:10 AM my time, please think of me and cross your fingers. Plus, last week I've done a round of email tag with an agent since I nudged her on my partial R&R. She'll be there tomorrow. Though she filled up before I signed up and registered last month, she told me she's looking forward to meeting me in person. I'm hoping she had read Venom's partial R&R and plan to upgrade it to a full. She might be interested in my other ms too, since she would set aside some time to meet me. That's kind of her. I don't know when I'll see her, depending on her schedule--before or after the conference, during her pitch breaks or maybe lunch. I'm calling this a twofer for now. Just a heads up, I'll be out all day tomorrow since it's a full day conference from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. I'll be up early at 7 AM to shower, change, and do last minute things before I'm out the door by 8 AM. I'll be home at 6 PM after I stop at the store for groceries and then have dinner.
