Another Baby Shower!

I was not in front of my laptop since this morning because I attended another baby shower. Just like the first one I was asked to lead the prayer.
This baby shower had more "fun activities." There were contests like sucking milk from milk bottles, guessing the right price of baby necessities (a package of diapers, wipes, baby powder, etc.), and more. Variety of Asian and western foods were served.
There were lots of gifts from guests. But what caught my attention was a gift of rolled diapers packed together to look like a wedding cake! Take a good look of the picture above. Creative, ey?

It is! Those are baby diapers. . . How does an adult diaper look like? I have never seen one . . .

Indeed. If i were to have a baby shower, I'd have a guessing game of the baby's gender and the answer would be a sonogram's result inside a belly shaped cake.

@toniganzon That was not included coz the gender of the soon-to-come-out bundle of joy was leaked before the shower.

@MGjhaud No, it's real! And most of the gifts are diapers . . . I guess the young couple have a couple of months supply of diapers!

@marsha32 I would suggest to her to use packs not rolls of diapers. . The above-pictured diaper cake was made of 100 rolls of diapers. But then using one hundred packs (a pack contains 24 diapers) would be a huge and expensive diaper cake - - a year supply though!

I attended a baby shower last year . . . I also led the prayer. But this one was more fun than the one I was invited to last year.

Yes, baby showers are the trend these days with the diaper cake. I just visited Canada, Toronto, Ontario last month. How far is Calgary from Toronto?

Hi, @vickyrose! Toronto is 2 hours ahead than Calgary . . . if you look at the map of Canada . . Toronto is in the east end . . Calgary is on the west wing. Must be almost more than a thousand kilometers between them.

@antonbunot oh, but these cloth diapers are also good to wipe sweats. i am using the cloth diapers of my son to wipe my sweat, kabsat.
