I did not manage to complete my software project before I delivered my baby, so now I am going to work hard on the project again. I am glad that my baby is sleeping very well most of the time, so I have some free time during the day to work on the project. I also get enough rest, as whenever I am feeding my baby, I am also taking a good rest. Hopefully I will be able to complete this project very soon, then I can move on to other stuffs in my list. What are you busy with now?

I'm glad your baby is sleeping well, and you're able to do some work. With three kids, I'm usually busy. Although, I do try and wake up a little earlier so that I can do some writing. It does work out fairly well for the most part.

Yes, I am glad he is sleeping well too, and my two elder children can sometimes play on their own, so I can do my work even in the day time. I usually wake up early in the morning so I can do my own work before my children wake up. Waking up early helps me to get more me-time too.

@dodo19 I guess when we have kids, especially young kids, we just need to find ways to be more effective.

@kaka135 I do the same. I tend to wake up a little earlier and get some work done.

First off, grats on the baby! Best that you catch up on sleep. You'll need it as the baby can be awake at ungodly hours. As for things that keep me busy... the usual day to day activities that I need and want to achieve my goals in life.

Thanks. I think I have lots of sleep throughout the day too, and that makes me can't fall asleep easily sometimes, as I have slept too much. But, you are right, baby wakes up any time even in the middle of the night. Hope you'll get your goals achieved!

So you are back to your busy self again. I know how diligent you are and with such a very cooperative baby, I am certain that you can do all your plans.

Thanks! I am not very busy now, but spending some time at work. Yes, I am glad that the baby can sleep really well, even though the brother and sister are playing around him.

I am not busy. I just am watching Ghost Whisperer and working on here. Am retired and have no projects except the occasional article that I write and post on other sites.

Ghost Whisperer sounds like a good series, I did not watch it before. I haven't been watching TV or any movies for quite some time. It's good to enjoy your life after retired, and still working on some writing jobs.

How can you home school your son now? It must be hard to follow everything.

I actually thought about this before I was pregnant. Since it's only grade 1, and the lessons are quite simple, so it's not so difficult to follow or catch up later. I am glad my son is also a self-learner, even though I do not spend much time teaching him, he still always practices and learns on his own, especially Math. He seems to like Math a lot, and he keeps working on the Math exercise his own. So, I am not so worry about his lessons, though I have not really been following my plans much, my son has been learning quite a lot too. I have also planned to resume our homeschooling lessons in July. Hence I will need to get the lessons prepared in this month too.

@RubyHawk Glad that my baby is sleeping well now, so I think I can still do that with my eldest son. I used to carry my second child when she was still a newborn baby, and tell stories or have some activities together with my eldest, so I think it's still possible to give lessons even with the baby around.

Wow, home schooling seems really time consuming especially with a baby. I would never have tried it unless there were no schools around.

I did not know your new baby was here. I am always busy with something but they are not big work projects like you have.

Oh, you just work so hard. After all, you just delivered your baby and left the hospital. You shall still need more rest. I know your project is important, but I think your health is much more important. Your client shall be considerate to it. You know sometimes the labor work is not that tiring, the mind work is harder.

I am not really "rushing" for the project now, I just feel like working on it and kick it out as soon as possible. It's actually I already have enough rest, especially the 5 nights staying in the hospital. I have already been starting to think of my work, my homeschooling planning and other stuffs. I think I have been sleeping too much, so it's time for me to start working. I do not enjoy laying down on the bed and can't sleep, so I'd prefer to be more productive, and can easily fall asleep. Don't worry, I think I have enough rest, because whenever I am feeding my baby, I am actually resting. Baby needs to be fed many times a day, so I have a lot of rest throughout the day.

@kaka135 When I stayed in the hospital after delivered my baby, I felt horrible. My wound was painful and it was hard for me to stand it. It was my weak time.

Thanks! I am doing very well, and have recovered from the surgery quite fast too. It's a baby boy, and he is healthy and always sleeps well too. My other two children love the baby brother very much, and they also help me to change diaper and take care of the baby, but of course, I still need to watch out when they are with the baby, especially my 4 year old girl, she is just too young to take care of the baby.

That's so neat that your baby is resting well so you can do other things. I'm trying to do too many things at once, I want to get all my poetry together and I want to sort my snapshots and get them all in albums, and I seldom get to either one, Maybe someday.

Yes, I am glad this baby can sleep really well, unlike my second child, I had to carry her almost all the time. There are also a lot on my plate that I am trying to get them done slowly. Hope you'll get what you want done soon!
