The temperature in our area has been fluctuating between 45 C and 48 C for more than a week.Everyday I return from my workplace perspiring heavily.Extremely hot weather has killed my hunger. In order to keep myself fit I have to take bath at least twice daily.First,in the morning before leaving for my workplace, and then in the evening at 7.30 p.m.Fortunately we don't have scarcity of water here. How many times do you take a bath everyday in such a hot summer??

@else34 thin tube of material with these little beads that get used normally to help soil retain water in dry areas. they go from dry to holding water, and thus feel cool, you wear it like a necklace or something and it helps YOU stay cool http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XX4X9E/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1944687602&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000S6G12M&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0K5RW0X2GP71XC6F8XGZ

Maybe just once. But I wouldn't get out of the lake all day. My best to you and your family. How absolutely miserable that must be. Yes, it's usually hot in India, but not like that. Take, care.

@msiduri,Thanks.We have enough water here for our family that comprises of seven members.Still we can't waste water, because in summer water supply may get interrupted anytime.Today temperature here is 48 C.Predictions are that the monsoon is arriving here within a week.We are desperately waiting for it.

Luckily I don't have to shower twice a day when it is super hot out because we have air conditioning to keep the house cool.
