First Time For the A/C

It was too hot. When it gets up close to the three digits I begin to feel like I can't breath. I decided to turn the A/C on. The way they have it hooked up is ridiculous. You actually have to flip a switch and then turn the heat clear UP. So we did that and nothing happened when we turned it on. So, then my daughter realized that the maintenance guy told her there was still another place inside the closet where you could turn the heat on and off. She flipped that and it worked.
I am now setting in a cool room. It is so nice. This time of day(3p. until 5p.) is the hottest part. It is 96 right now. The temp will be going down now but I will leave the A/C on for awhile. I am enjoying it too much to turn it off. And it's only the beginning of June. Oh my!

Glad to hear that it worked and came on Celtic. I did have it on a bit today..altho it was not as hot here..yet.
I will be at Moms all week and she does not have air condition.
She does have a portable one, but probably I wont hook it up til Friday when it will be in the 90s too.

No one should have to live through the 90's and 100's without some relief from a A/C. If I have that to look forward to during the heat of the day (3p. to 5p.) then I might live to telll about it.

I can't afford to run it except when it is overwhelming inside.

96 degrees? That sounds so odd to me. Never equated Idaho with hot weather. Don't know why. But actually, I don't remember ever hearing reports about the weather in Idaho!
We pretty much burn our A/C all year long here in Austin, Texas.

I just put my coat on to go outside and smoke because it's cold out there to me. it takes a lot to make me feel hot.

96 sounds fantastic. I think we're at 100. I'm glad you got the air to work.
