Writers and people in general can come up with oddball things to say. I tried to remember a few of the weird things that I bumped into from time to time, and here are several of them. Maybe you can come up with more of these strange sayings from those which you heard and which you may have read here and there. * * * * * * * * * * There I was, all alone in that crowded room. Alphabets are really quite useful. The sun peeked out from behind a cloud. Why was it hiding? One-penny gum is a bargain, but they don't sell it in those 99-cent-only stores these days.
