Asking for money

If someone asks you for money do you give if to them?
I'm not so easy to give peopel my money even if they ask. I have a hArd time going to a store and a stranger asking me for money. If someone, tells me they need something I can go and buy it for the, with no problem as long as it's not a lot money. Like a means, diapers, cold meds some water. I don't like giving my money out to others not knowing what they will do with it and use it for selfish reasons.

I am also the very same way as you. My husband on the other hand will give someone the money if he is able to. If I ask to borrow money I am going to use it for what I asked for it. I borrowed money from my dad one day I think it was 10.00 and it was for gas. Well I needed a pack of cigs and I called him and told him that I needed a pack would it be ok if I used the money I borrowed from him that I was going to pay him back to get a pack and then put the rest in gas. My daddy was talking to me like I was crazy until I explained it to him and he then thanked me for doing that. Now my dad does not have a problem with letting me borrow money as he knows that I will use it for what I say that I need it for.

I still ask my parents from time to time for money and I normally pay them back unless they tell me to too but then I get them something enchanting for not returning the money back to them. I hate borrowing money so I don't make it a habit. I'll give change here and there to donations but not to someone that walks up to me that I don't know.

@ShyBear88 Yeah I have a really hard time believing people I do not know. But there are times that something has told me to give them the money that I can. But all the other times I will go and buy them something to eat. My dad is that way.

I have never had anyone ask me for money to buy for anything in the market. But I do have people standing outside asking for money, but I don't give it to them. I used to until I found many are scams, or they don't use the money for actual donations - what not.

@ShyBear88 Yes, I donate to organizations I know of and like if they ask from the grocery stores like Costco, Vons, Babies R Us or something like that. Not the people outside, but ones you physically put your name on the Star or something for them to display.

@infatuatedbby I drop change into the Ronald McDonals change bins most of the time. The kids like to put the money in or at the mall they have this little thing where the kids can watch the change fall into a box and the money goes to donation. I don't give money out to strangers unless they tell me what they need like food or jacket.

Where I live there is tones of people that will ask for money and they are scammers. If they are out for donations for a places I know like the Fireman or St. Jude I'll give them money but its normally a few cents out of my pocket.

I agree I rather give them food or something they need then money because a lot don't use it money for food but for other thigs.

Your more trust worthy then I am. I don't give it out to people every really. I'll give donations but to people I know or don't nope not happening
