Should Law be introduced in Class 6 to 10?

The curriculum of ICSE, CBSE boards in India is created in such a manner that students till Class X study History, Geography, English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Computers. But they dont study Law. But there are parent laws like Constitutional law, IPC, etc. The children should get some elementary knowledge on basic laws.

Thanks Vijayji, students have Civics as subject. They learn fundamental rights and duties in the curriculum. If law is kept there they can learn some substantial provisions and procedures.

@sathviksouvik I think its important to teach ethics and morals at that age than law..as laws are based on these basic blocks only..

@vijay_2016 Thanks Vijayji, indirectly India's preamble of constitution is taught in Civics and later in Class XI in Political science. The problem is these subjects dont teach the consequences once rules are infringed. Once a student study law he or she will know about his or her own rights, for example right to life. They can know about how to argue one's own case in a Consumer Forum or Family Court.
