Goodreads giveaway and such.

I got a notice some time ago from goodreads that I’m in the top 1% of goodreads reviewers. I review nearly any and everything I read. Uh, yippee. Do I get a coffee mug? A T-shirt? A pen? Or, most importantly, does it increase my chances of winning a book in a giveaway?
Despite trying I’ve never won a book in the goodreads giveaways. Some of them I really would have liked to have read—and a couple I did end up buying. Others I just entered the giveaway to see if I could I if did any good. It didn’t. And now I have to spend time and remove all those books from my to-read lists, one of the reasons I gave up entering the giveaways unless it’s a book I really want.
Yeah.
I’m curious: How many of you have entered goodreads giveaways and how many have you won books? Were you happy with the books? Did you write reviews?

I've never won anything on Goodreads...maybe someday. I'm glad you enjoy reading. I'm also a huge fan of books. I'm currently reading a book series I can't get into and it's driving me crazy. I promised my neighbor I would read it but it's killing my soul. There are so many good books I want to get started on, but I'm stuck with this series...Ugh. lol

@msiduri Thanks! You too! That's how I feel about those books but I feel like I have to read them because my neighbor keeps asking me if I'm finished yet. She read the books I gave her to read and I don't want to upset her. Oh well. I'll just speed read through them.

I remember EPS people used to carry the reviews over from there. I've never even been on the site.
