I got my new computer tower all hooked up a few nights ago and it was actually a lot easier then I had anticipated. I also got my new monitor hooked up as well and everything is running wonderful. The one thing I did not realize is that neither the tower or the monitor would come with speakers lol. I hooked up my old ones to the monitor and as usual they are not working well and are very quiet so we have head phones plugged into the tower and that works great for now. I am going to buy a set of really good speakers off a computer guy today for $10. Later tonight I am babysitting my friends little girl who is a little over a year old. She is very active and we have no toys here at all that she can play with. The house is not baby proof anymore now that my littlest is 8. I will have to follow her everywhere for the few hours that she is here. I forsee myself being very tired and sleeping well after she goes home.

Glad you got a new computer.I do not have any speakers on mine, they are built in but not enough volume but im fine with that. Hope the little one does not give you too much trouble till she can go home.

For a lot of the paid surveys I do I need speakers. My kids need them for watching youtube videos. The little girl I watched is about 15 months old. She pretty much cried the whole time she was here about 3 1/2 hrs. It was awful. I was so tired but now I can't seem to sleep.

@miniam She doesn't know me very well and she is just used to always being with her mother. Her mother is a stay at home mom.

Its a little slimmer then my old tower. The monitor is a huge difference. The old one was a huge chunky one that was probably from back in the early 90s.

Off topic but I think you have the exact same phone case I do. Looks identical to mine.

My phone is a ZTE majesty from straighttalk. That is what the case fits. Is that the same phone you have?

That's good that you got a new computer, and will be getting some speakers. Won't the baby's parents send some toys with her?

I asked the parents to send some toys and they sent a bag of them that she wouldn't play with haha. She was very difficult. I was very happy to see the mom after 3 1/2 hours of this little girl crying. She just wanted her momma and there was nothing my kids or I did that would make her feel better.

@shaggin What a horrible time that must have been for you, a constantly crying child is very distressing.

Babysitting is so fun though! Congrats on your computer! I recently got a new laptop. There's just something about that clean slate.....

Babysitting can be a lot of fun but this time it was not! The little girl is not yet a year and a half and is always with her mother so while she was with me she pretty much cried the whole time which was 3 1/2 hours. I used to babysit lots of kids all the time I don't know how after this short time how nerve wracking it was haha.

@shaggin awwww!! I used to watch this little boy that would do that. I literally had to hold him and rock him until he cried himself to sleep. Talk about nervewracking.

The man was driving past my house today and dropped off the speakers and I paid them. They work great!

My old printer probably won't even work with this new computer. I haven't tried it yet.
