The tribal warriors in the Northern Luzon of the Philippines had fought in protecting their land against the Spaniards. It has been 350 years since the Spanish Regime left the country and Filipinos had their Independence. It is the 12th of June and the Filipinos are celebrating “Independence Day”. It is the moment of showing its appreciation for the local people to fight against the Spanish invaders. In the Philippines history, it wasn’t sure how the local people fought. One thing for sure, the Igorots in the mountainside of the Philippines had shown that they were not slaved by the Spaniards. Photo Credit: Shavkat
