Have you ever went through and cleaned up old posts you did?

Many times on Mylot, and other forums... We have discussions and suggestions... and recommendations to other tools of websites, that started off as good, then later closed, or went to scam, or the discussion served a good purpose at the time.. but later is just causing unwanted attention to old topics, issues, or wounds. Do you ever go back through your Mylot post and remove old outdated discussions that lead to no valid information or relevancy? .. I do every so often, to one.. remove outdated content, and two to save Mylot a little server and storage space, so they have better content to serve their readers, and thus earn better in ad revenue as well. I love mylot! I love to try my best to keep my contributions up to date!

Yes I do! And myLot should clean out those ancient posts from long dormant members. I suggest all members delete some posts and what I mean are those posts dealing with the Super Bowl, Christmas, NBA finals, timely news events, the kind of posts that are irrelevant months later that no one is going to go back and read. Use judgement in what you think has "legs."

Good idea, about pulling out the old posts that will not being legs wandering back later to reply to them. But some old holiday ones can be pretty fun to read, and to bring back next time the holiday comes around.. I have done that with a few old ones.

I would like to do that but don't know if the people who answered them will lose points when I delete something. It happens on the other chat site. They will take down a whole topic and whoever answered it sees their points going down.

I have watched some of my old posts and comments disapear and it has not effected my myIot earnings any.. but if i remove a whole thread i do save all the answers in case someone contacts me wanting their archive of the old answer i removed.. most of my discussions usually end up later on my own website if i pull them.. just improved.
