Red beans and Rice for dinner / myLot

So my dad made at his house tonight red beans and rice. One of my favorite things to eat at my parents house when we are over. So my dad has been cooking it all day for when my mom gets home from work at about 9:30, or 10pm she won't have to cook and can just eat. My dad asked me to make cornbread and I did. The one I made went so I had to make a second on before I left for the night. But dinner was good and I enjoyed it. The sausage was a bit spicier then I normally eat it but that is okay.

I have never really liked red beans,will eat them but not something i will ever miss.

It's one of my favor dishes but I'm the only one out of my husband and kids wthat will eat it when it's made.

We used to eat that all the time, when my hubby and I were first married! I had never heard of it before I met him. Now you've got me craving it again. Wonder if I could make it tonight...
