Boss Assigned My Client to Another / myLot

Communication is the key in every business right? Last Sunday my boss rang my phone and cleared something about one of my shipment. My client have a new import coordinator, he seems not familiar with the words we are using in our profession, thus it creates a chaos yesterday to my delivery. My boss decided to take out that client and give to mandarin speaking colleague of mine so they can communicate in their mother tongue. To my delight, the manager send email to my boss with all praises for me and insisted that they still want me to handle their shipments! I can see the glow on my boss' eyes! Haha!

And from now on we are making things all clear before sending instructions to my operation department. Their side and my side both learned lesson in this "language barrier". :)

It's a good thing the manager called to tell your boss that . If not , your boss could have thought you weren't able to handle well their shipments . You deserve a commendation for that , friend .

It makes me sad for the whole day. That will be my first time in my whole career that a client will be pulled-out of my list. Whew! A big relief and grin on me when I saw the client's email to my boss. :)
