I work for a larger company and we are worldwide and I do meetings and webinars weekly. It is all about the software. Some of course are better than others, but I have tried multiple products and most of them are very easy to setup. For cost and features (it does not have all the features that other products have, but enough for me) Webex is a good choice. Webinar's allow me to stay at home more often, unless I need to determine a process out on the floor, etc. Soon I will be traveling to Mexico because well they want me to see a process on the floor, but for what I have to go over, technically I would normally do a Webinar.

I went through a "webinar" period a few years ago. I had tons to learn about working on the internet and thought it would help. Some of these were good and some did not seem organized very well.
What I found is that half of the program were tips and methods of doing things. The last half of the program was a sales pitch for whatever the person giving the webinar was selling. I got tired of this and have not done any recently.

I've noticed that too, but I've still gotten some good information.
