My daughter today and yesterday hasn't been feeling well. I suspect she has a virus also know as a cold. She has a low fever of 100.5 as of 10am It's probably different now. I'll check her temp here soon. She has been sleeping a lot so we have been leaving she be. She hasn't eaten anything really. Every now and then she'll take a few bits of Furit or something easy on the tummy. She has a banana earlier and ate at least half of it. I'm hoping she feels better here in a few days. The bad part is she can't go to my nephews birthday party today because of her being sick. Her daddy is going to stay with her while I take the boys.

There will be other parties. Better to take care of her health. Maybe you could tempt her with a treat from the party when she is feeling better. I would not push food on her right now, her appetite will pick up later. I think it is important for her to have liquids now.

I'm not paying food on her. She is my eldest child but I k who how this goes. When she is ready to eat she will. She was this morning a little hungry because she told me her tummy hurt. So I asked her if would like a banana and she dad yes she ate half of it. Didn't eat lunch but had water, no dinner. My husband while I was gone with our boys he was able to get her to take a bit of donut becIse she remember we saved a donut for her. I have brown cup cakes from the party for she because my youngest had his own set due to his food allergies. She stayed home rest hubby took her of her. She is upset and has very right to be because this is the third one we missed in the last three months. The last brithday her brother had pneumonia and was still recover so we had to stay home, the time before that we all had colds. She is 5 and heart broken but she'll get over it in a few days.

@akalinus I hope we are all done being sick where we live it got hit hard with people getting sick so it was hard not getting sick. She seemed a lot better today at least temp wise. I wish she would eat more then a few nibbles here and there but it's better then nothing.

She is 5 and doesn't really understand that but this is the third party in the last three months we have missed. So she is upset is very understanding, it's. It his really birthday just one for his school mates because his birthday is the 3rd of July and nobody will be in town then so we did it now, the will have a sleep over on his real birthday.

I certainly hope your daughter feels better. Consuming lots of fluids and rest should help your daughter bounce back quickly.
