Why do we need to stay caught up on our shots? Adults need to keep up to date of their own records along with their child's records. Adults need these immunizations to help stay healthy. There are at least three immunizations that adults need to keep in mind. These shots are for pneumonia, influenza, and HPV (HumanPapillomaVirus). Adults should also keep in mind about the Hepatitis vaccine as well especially in certain professions as in nursing. Adults should go to their family doctors and make sure that their shots are up to date and to make sure to get any boosters that may be needed in order to keep you and your family safe and happy. Immunizations seem not to be cheap and you may have to check on your various insurance policies. There are some that if you are in a low income status family these shots could be free or a reduced cost. Not sure of this though. Just a reminder to make sure you check on yourself and your family.
