Bernie sander first big mistake

Yes I like Bernie but here what I think his first mistake was. He know he was going to run on the Democratic party. He should of told all the people who are independent to sign up as Democratic just for this year. If he had all the independent register as Democratic he would of won the primary by a landslide.This should of been his first speech.

Bernie only registered Dem in order to seek the nomination and that turned off many Dems. I wonder how he would have done as an independent candidate. Ordinarily an indie would have no chance and hurt the party most closely associated with. I know Bernie doesn't want to hurt the Dems and won't run as an indie but I think in a three way race against Trump and Clinton who aren't exactly super popular, Bernie would have a heck of a chance of winning.

All his independent people just for this year
To sign up as a Democratic he would of won the primary and then the people can go back as independents.
