I had been talking about my trike that I use almost daily for my morning exercise. It is a customized bike. (@Ida123, here it is).
I bought a used alloy folding bike and asked a machine shop worker to transform it into a three-wheeled bike, because I do not know how to ride a bike for fear of falling and breaking a bone, or hip bone.
So I have this, which attracts the attention of neighbors asking where I bought it. It is worth the price because a used trike or adult bike which is almost similar to my bike sells at Php12,000 to Php14,000 at the Amazon.com.

Yes,@DianneN , I really love biking, so I had it customized because I do not know how to use a single bike.

where did you look for a used alloy folding bike and how much was it?

@acelawrites if the parts he used are high-quality and the parts appropriate for that bike, that's that's good.

@hereandthere It is priced at sme Php 14,000 at the amazon.com; also used trikes, but they are more beautiful.

There are many second hand bike shops in our country. I bought it for P3,000; but the first shop that customized it charged me so high at P6,000 because of the parts he used in it.But it is worth the price considering the benefits and enjoyment I get from it.

sorry for the delayed response friend. just read your discussion. wow, your trike is very well done, when someone looks at it, no one can notice that it is made from a machine shop. i hope, someone here from our place can make this trike as beautifully as yours. i plan to have a trike like yours but i want a bigger wheel

@acelawrites I see, I'll try my best and ask my husband to find a second hand alloy folding bike and if possible a bigger one. Thanks for the heads up friend.

You can use a bigger wheel.It happened because I bought a smaller folding bike. They find it hard to bore holes for that alloy material, so they said it is easier to convert using ordinary metal bikes.

@acelawrites I love riding my bike too. I can ride up and down the streets of the nearby village and see how everyone planted their flowers.
Doing the stationary bike in the house is not as enjoyable.

I need it because I really wanted to bike for my morning exercise; we have a steady bike at home but I don't want to use it because I am bored. Riding this bike allows me to roam our whole village, admire the birds and the trees and the flowers too.

I saw it on the net, so I asked a machine shop and showed a prototype and told them how to assemble it. The result was fine.

Looks for a child because of little wheels; but it is for adult. The same as in what I saw in the net.

Yes, it is dangerous on highways. I only use this inside our subdivision where I almost own the road every morning.

I like riding it, when I need to go out of our village to go to a convenience store when my husband or son are not around to drive for me.

Yes, sofs, I need to exercise and my doctor said I can bike instead of walk so as not to damage my knee cartilage. So I just walk a little and bike a lot specially now that my husband will retire from work.

You would surely love it too, Judy, there are adult bikes sold which looks better than this one; I think Schwinn's? Look at the net, it's there.
