Today evening again took around to inquire about the models available in the Power Drill. Visited about 6-8 shops. They have shown various models.
We got a number of models. They all available in two types. Card type and Cardless. The Cardless will have a battery and can be recharged. How much time it requires to be charged depends on the type of battery whether it is Lithium or Na..Again the Chuck Diameter has to an ideal one. The more price the more it can hold large bits perfectly. Generally, these chucks will have 13 mm Diameter. There are also some drills that can work as screwdrivers. Further, they will have reverse mechanism also to remove the inserted screw. They will have arrangements for R.P.M , torque adjustment, Gears etc. So, one has to consider all these issues while purchasing a hand drill. One more interesting things is that they will have hammer system also to work against tough surfaces. The Voltage and power aspects also are more important. The hand drill will generally available with a voltage from 7V -18V.. A good Hand Drill will cost not less than Rs.3,000/- to Rs.4,000/-
After knowing about all these technical parameters I have decided to go as per the advice tendered by my friend M.L on myLott .
I want to seek one in case of any urgent work from the persons who are already having and using them in the Colony. Moreover there is lot of construction work going on in the colony so any worker can come on request and do the needful. In this way somebody gets some work in the colony.
Moreover, I can save lot of money. Is it not right?
