Silence - a powerful tool.

Just like in a song that says " you say it best, when you say nothing at all ". Sometimes it's good to stay quiet than to talk nonsense things.

Yeah, when you're talking to polite educated people silence has that said effect because they know that you must have something important to say when you brake the silence, but when you're talking to crude ignorant people silence is often seen as weakness and inferiority - even if that little you talk makes much more sense than everything they said in 30 minutes or so.

yes this is a tool my mother used to use when I had really made her angry and for me it worked better than a spanking cause I hated to see her all quiet just glaring at me and knew she was really upset. I really loved my mom and never did want to make her upset or angry
