If you don't want to know the result, look away now.
Roger Federer, the number three seed, played Milos Raonic, the number six, in the first of the Gentlemen's Singles semi-finals.
Raonic got a break of serve early in the first set and went on to take it 6-3. Federer was slow to start, leading to comments that perhaps his fitness wasn't as good as it could be and that he hadn't recovered from the five set match earlier.
In the second set, Raonic was serving 4-5 at 0-40 down, but took it to deuce. Federer got the advantage, and a fourth set point, but failed to get it and Raonic held his serve. The set went to tiebreak, which Federer won 7-3, making it one set all.
In the third set, Federer got two break points and got the second, breaking Raonic's serve, then went on to win the set 6-4.
In the fourth set, Federer got two break points on Raonic's serve, but the latter took it to deuce and held his serve. Two service games later and Federer got another break point, but Raonic took it to deuce and held his serve again. Raonic got a break, and a set point, at 6-5, then another, and then a third which he won, taking the set 7-5 and taking the match to a fifth set.
Raonic got a break point early in the last set, then another and succeeded. In Federer's next service game, Raonic got three break points but Federer held. Raonic wound up serving to win the match and he did, winning the set 6-3 and the match 3 sets to 2.
A bit of a shocker, but Federer definitely looked tired.
Now for Andy Murray.

A rough five setter. So no Federer-Murray rematch. I think it is a case of age is catching up with Federer. We have seen this happen to Connors, McEnroe etc. Father time catches up with even champions and they start running out of gas. They have energy and skill to get through early easier rounds but as the tournament grinds on and they face tougher opponents, age and being tired betrays them.

@JohnRoberts His age definitely played a part, but I think nerves got the better of him too. Without all his double faults the result may have been very different.
