~Going To Bed Angry~

My husband and I don't fight a whole lot, but when we do sometimes it gets a little crazy. Yesterday was one of those times where we were having an argument over something stupid. I was feeling insecure and he wasn't helping the situation at all-I needed reassuring that I wasn't getting is what it comes down to. Typical woman...I know. Lol. Anyway, usually we don't go to bed angry because you just never know if one of you might not wake up the next day. Last night though my husband fell asleep and I laid there until I finally fell asleep. We both went to bed angry. Today he apologized and said I never want to go to bed angry with you again. I agree-none of us will live forever... You just never know...

I've done the same thing, it's human to get angry and sometimes we don't handle it well.

@RubyHawk Yeah, emotions get in the way for me and it feels worse than it actually is.

@LovingMyBabies Sometimes I think it's better to let the other know when you are angry and get it out in the open, That way, it doesn't build up into an explosion. But there should never be any violence.

At least he apologised the next day. My husband and I never utter the words I'm sorry to each other. But we know we have forgiven each other when one speaks kindly to another once again.

@toniganzon That is so strange to me-we always apologize when we know we were wrong.

That's great that you got an apology. My husband never apologizes.

@NJChicaa Really? I couldn't deal with a man that doesn't apologize-everyone makes mistakes.

That's very sweet your husband apologized to you. Actually I also had an argument with my husband the day before yesterday due to a little thing.

Me and my husband have that rule too. Very rarely do we go to bed angry because like you said, you just never know.

@LovingMyBabies Yeah we hate it too. My husband is normally the 1 to apologize first as well. :-)

I've been there and done that, too! It isn't something that should ever happen, but sometimes.... our emotions get the best of us... When that happens, the best thing you can do is ignore each other. If you try to talk, one of you will still be too mad to talk. Then the fighting just starts all over again.
