I am a huge fan of Pro-wrestling because of the over the top characters wrestlers play. Also it is like having real life heroes and villains. Yeah MMA have real fights and wrestling is scripted but I still watch wrestling for the geekness and nerdness of it. Just because I love it though it doesnt mean it has elements I don't hate. The 5 below are my top 5 Pet peeves with wrestling.
5. Talented Wrestlers Jobbing while Untalented ones gets a push- Because wrestling is scripted there is a lot of politics going on. There are wrestlers who were good at what they do but they end up as jobbers. What is a jobber, A jobber is a character who always lose. It is really sad when good wrestlers are turned into jobbers while terrible botchy ones are pushed because of their family name or their looks.
4. Storyline inconsistencies after alignment change- There are 3 basic types of wrestlers. A face, a heel and a tweener. The face is a heroic wrestler, A heel is a villainous wrestler and a Tweener is an anti-hero. There are times when a Heel gets too popular so they were turned into faces and there are times when a Face gets no reaction so they were turned into a heel. I hate it when 2 Mortal enemy wrestlers suddenly became best of friends because they were now on the same alignment.
3. Super Long promo- A Promo is when wrestlers make speeches to sell their feud for storyline purposes. Sometimes though it gets too annoying when a promo last for a very long time. Those minutes could have been matches.
2. Bookers refusing to turn a wrestler's alignment despite of crowd reaction- I hate it when Wrestling promotions refuse to heel turn a face wrestler who is being booed by the audience and when they refuse to face turn a heel who is getting cheered.
1. It is a tie between:
Recyled storylines- leave the cliches to soap operas. Time to use new stories that were never been used before.
Heel always have to cheat- Why do villains always have to cheat and be cowardly? Why cant we just have an arrogant annoying villain who can still win fair and square.

Seems to me that you're complaining about issues caused by the WWE. And honestly they won't change unless there's a demand for it, and there is none. Yeah there are drops in ratings or loss in subscribers to the network, but it' a seasonal thing, as ratings jump back up. The losses that WWE suffers need to last longer than a month and be more like a year or two before they think:"Hmm, we need to change our approach."

I found it funny that NXT , a developmental brand is much more enjoyable to watch than Raw and Smackdown because it has better character development. Recently WWE is running out of ideas that they immitated TNA's Final deletion.
The most enjoyable Wrestling company right now is Lucha Underground. It is so cinematic and the booking is awesome.

@Hanyouyomi TNA had improved ever since they moved to POP TV. They gave wrestlers creative freedom thats why Final deletion became viral. Also they hired many young talents and gave chance to the wrestlers wwe wasted like Drew Mcyntyre and Bobby Lashley. I just skip the scenes with Dixie Carter.
I think once HHH tookover WE main roster will improve. NXT is under his control and it looks awesome. NXT is able to make people care about tag team wrestling and Women's wrestling.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I wouldn't say WWE's running out of ideas. It's more like they're throwing crap against the wall to see what sticks. And Lucha Underground isn't a real promotion, but more of less a T.V. drama that has pro-wrestling as its theme. It's as if Mark Burnett and Robert Rodriguez were like:"People know pro-wrestling's fake anyway, so why don't we play that up and make a grind house drama out of it?" And as a result people enjoy it.
Also you say WWE immitated TNA's final deletion, whadda ya mean by that? Because I quit TNA a year or so ago... I couldn't take the pain anymore, as they somehow made WWE's crap look like art.
As for NXT doing well? No wonder as Triple H has a genuine passion for pro-wrestling, and I'm hoping to God he doesn't go senile any time soon, especially if he ever succeeds Vince...

I was unaware of this kind of wrestling. I've only heard lately about WWE. I know about regular wrestling, or is that what you're talking about that has become scripted. By regular wrestling I'm talking about the kind of wrestling matches they have in high schools.

Olympic wrestling is the one they have in highschools. I am talking about Pro-wrestling where there are heroes and villains. Olympic wrestling is not scripted but too boring for me to watch. I do know it's value as it can give gold medals to a country.
