Cats in the kitchen

I was getting ready to start working on the cat boxes. I went into the kitchen, and on a box were my two yellow fellows, Taj and Pong. I had to take a double take, because Pong and his brother, Ping, used to lay the same way a lot. My roomie fell in love with Ping as a kitten, and Ping was very dependent on his brother, Pong. Pong is Mr. Mellow. Honestly, he's not a very interesting cat, especially when his smaller brother, Ping, was such a personality dynamo. Ping oozed personality, but if he didn't have his brother, well, he'd stress. Yeah, more so when they were kittens, but even later you'd see him touch base with Pong off and on during the day. I guess if we had to lose one, it was better it was our sweet Ping, because if Pong had been the one to go, I don't know how long Ping would've lasted. Still, it can be rough when you walk in and unexpectedly come across two cats who are looking like one/s you've lost. We still miss you, Ping-a-ling...
