My Laptop Went "Useless"

My laptop restarted and then the white screen. I did not know what I clicked, then it said I had removed some apps including Google Chrome which I am using for the net, including myLot. It was on the recycle bin but I do not know how to restore it. My son was rushing to work so I did not disturb him to fix it. Now I am using a notebook which belongs to my husband; and I want to use my own laptop, the Acer Spire/V5. Can anyone here tell me how to restore it? Thanks a lot. If not, I am asking my husband to take it to the repair shop.

Thank you, Judy. I am at a loss here. @acelawrites It sounds very much like a virus to me and I sincerely hope that it's not a ransomware! I think that the computer repair shop is the best place to take it.

I'm glad some one from mylot knows computer problems with Acer Spire/V5 mine is a dell inspirion, it's still new but i hope it doesn't get screwed.
