Friday Music War

We just did this the other day, but every so often, my girlfriend and I, both of us with wildly different tastes, do a music war, where we play music for each other until one of us "wins," usually, but not always, with a song that is considered out of character, or has a great personal story behind it. These can often turn into all-nighters, but we decided to do another one today.
Her sample: "The Note" by Daryl Singletary, "The Heart won't Lie" by Reba and Vince Gill, "If You See Him, If You See Her" by Reba and Kix Brooks, The Final Scene from Mr. Holland's Opus, "Happy Trails" by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.
My sample: "First and Last and Always" by The Sisters of Mercy, "That Lady" by The Isley Brothers, "African Children" by Aswad, "Our Roots Began in Africa" by Pharoah Sanders, "Rad Dude" by Gaye Bykers on Acid.
The Winner? She snuck in Former President Bill Clinton playing Wham's "Careless Whisper" on the saxophone on the Arsenio Hall show. I tried to counter with "The House I Live In" by Tony Danza, but to no avail. I lost out to President Clinton.
Just Bill banging out careless whisper for a bit of fun on his sax.

You were doomed to lose that. It's hard to find a musical president. The closest we had was Vice President Charles Dawes, who wrote the music that became the classic pop standard "It's All In the Game."
