@CaseyRoss9966 I love to give gifts, but even starting the day after Christmas, I couldn't afford that many. If I start too early, I am always afraid something will happen to make the gift inappropriate by the time Christmas gets here.

@peavey She will buy a bunch of small gifts throughout the year and most of them are practical like shoes, clothes, jewelry, makeup, or bath sets. Things that they can use anytime of the year and are unlike to not be into by Christmas.

My best friend's mom starts shopping for Christmas the day after Christmas. She starts buying, wrapping, and putting in the attic for the next year. She buys presents for her 4 kids ( three of which are grown, and two have families of their own already), and all of her grandkids which there are six of. They don't just get three or four presents they get about 20 a piece.

I tend to start buying in October or November. I know some start as early as July but I like to wait a few months. Since I have started buying things handmade / home made? I try to decide as early as possible, so that if I need to order way before, I can.

I am saving up my Amazon gift cards that I earn from websites like myLot and that is what I will be using to buy the majoring of my gifts with this year.

My grandmother was like that she would say things to us like I got you something for christams and it would be the middle of summer I'd always say are your rocker, lol. but now that we have a family of our own I see why,lol I still haven't mastered it yet though I do good if I do a month ahead, lol. Hopefully this year we've always managed to have a good christmas so I guess that's the main thing.
