When do you start shopping for holiday gifts?

I am recently shop online to have any idea for holidays gift soon.i just keep it on my cart or save the item that i like for later soon as i'm ready to buy,

I buy things throughout the year, too, but can't get really going on it until cool weather arrives. I have a small stash started, though.

I tend to start buying in October or November. I know some start as early as July but I like to wait a few months. Since I have started buying things handmade / home made? I try to decide as early as possible, so that if I need to order way before, I can.

I want to buy now but I don't have the money yet.

I used to do that but it's a little overwhelming storing the stuff and I knew I would be moving this year so I won't be starting Christmas shopping until after I move..which is hopefully soon.

My grandmother was like that she would say things to us like I got you something for christams and it would be the middle of summer I'd always say are your rocker,lol. but now that we have a family of our own I see why,lol I still haven't mastered it yet though I do good if I do a month ahead, lol. Hopefully this year we've always managed to have a good christmas so I guess that's the main thing.
