Ships and other modes of transportation still use the Morse Code for communication. My father worked for the B&O Railroad.
He was an operator and was very familiar with the Morse Code and had a little tapping device on his desk that he used to communicate with other operators and train stations.
Most people, at least, know the Morse Code for an S O S signal, asking for help.
. . . - - - . . . That’s dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot
Or three shorts, three longs and three shorts.
But do you know ALL the letters? I learned them all at one time, but have since forgotten them. I think they could be good to know.
What do you think?

I didn't know it was still in use. I learnt Braille once which I found interesting too. Once I left the city I wasn't able to continue.

This poses an interesting question: in this day of modern tech with cells and what not, is Morse code still relevant and taught?
