Fun Afternoon At Baby Shower

Yesterday I spent most of my afternoon at my nieces daughters baby shower, I guess she is my grand-niece. She is expecting a little boy this coming September.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. There was finger foods and salads for lunch and an amazingly delicious cake.
The games were suitable for all ages and everyone had a great time participating. She received an amazing number of gifts and I cannot imagine that there is anything that they will have to buy for the baby.
Knowing that people love to give the cute little onesies an outfits for gifts I got a case of diapers and a couple of little gifts to give her.
She was the star of the day and couldn't believe how generous everyone was. That is one lucky little baby.

Baby showers are so much fun. I gave one for my son last November and we all had a great time and he got some neat gifts. He didn't know anything until one of the guys who showed up to help me get things set up called and told him he needed to come home.

I think people go way overboard in the dollar value of the gifts. Everyone tries to outdo the next person.

I'm glad it was nice. =) When my church family threw my baby shower I was amazed at all the gifts I got as well. It was awesome and so helpful!
