Well as i intended I kept to my plans of focusing on my fitness. I have been logging my meals for today and keeping count of my calories. I did exercise too, but I wasn't able to push myself as hard as I used to. That is fine though because as I go I will get better and better. It has been a long time since I have done any exercises so that is to be expected. The only real problem I see now is that I have to go food shopping for the foods to make my healthy meals and snacks. Hopefully I will be able to do that soon. I will definitely be looking forward to having more variety in what I can eat because today I have not eaten much due to not having many healthy options. I have been setting my goals in my long journey to becoming fit as well. I would like to have dropped at least 10lbs by the end of August. I would like to walk at least 5 miles a week as well. I am determined to make sure I walk at least 5 days out of the week though walking everyday is much better. I am determined to become fit. Any advice on what else I should do or something I should add? Do you have goals set for achieving something you want?

I think you have made a great step with the diary. My tip is that you can also write down your achievements when working out: If you do some push ups, count them, write how many you did. I did it for a year and I saw the progress. Sometimes my achievements were going down and sometimes they went up. Sometimes I didn't feel like trying hard, sometimes I liked the muscle pain so I tried harder. The body learns to overcome the challenge. It's nice to read the diary after a year and see the progress.

@IvySaysHi Thank you. I like sharing my experience. When I went to do my exercises at the gym, I went with a note that says my last achievements so I know in my mind what is the limit I need to pass, or maybe not to pass if I don't feel like... Anyway, the exercises become easier during the year of working out. Take a piece of paper with you and a pencil and a duster. Write the date, the achievements of last time and the achievements of the current day. Another tip is to watch your heart rate, there is a healthier range of heart rate for each person, in the long run, it is not healthy for the heart to work hard. Some people lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, but, their heart pays its penalty, they damage their heart.
