This is a busy week. Today I'm heading out to Milwaukee again in just over an hour. I'll be gone for five hours again, minimum.
I've got a huge complaint to give the dentist regarding my partial. Not being able to eat with them. I don't know what the solution is, but I'm not a dentist either. So we'll see what happens in order for me to be able to eat with them. I have no problem with the upper plate, though breads and bakery present a problem.
I was up early, but ended up taking an hour nap. I'm still pretty sore from yesterday. It's a good thing I told the transport company I would be traveling with my cane. It's become like the commercial - never leave home without it.
So I'll be leaving approximately 11:30 and will return sometime around 5.
My Dell is also showing up today. I've asked my son to watch for it since they need a signature for it. I got a monitor cord for it yesterday. I don't know why it came separate. It makes me wonder if I'm getting the monitor with it, or it's just the computer and everything is coming separate.
So anyway that's my day. I'm going to do what I can until time to leave.

I think that I need to get me a cane too. I can't walk very good. Scared I will lose my balance.
Getting a laptop you get the entire thing in the same package.
I really hate going through the teeth thing. Sounds like you are having issues.

I will never have another laptop. The one I had drove me nuts. It was so slow, and needed to be plugged in at all times. No thanks. I like my desktop and will stick with that. I got the monitor yesterday. So I'm still waiting on the computer itself.

@just4him ....Really? I wonder what kind you had. I know mine slows down if I don't clean out the browser and do maintenance on it. Some people like them and some don't. I just like the mobility and not having to set at a desk.

@celticeagle It's a Compaq. I still have it and need to delete everything off it before I get rid of it to the recycle shop. That will probably take all day since it's so slow.

He tightened the hook on the one side, so we'll see once I glue it down today if I can eat with them. He did say the lower partials were the ones hardest to fit properly. He also said it takes a little time to adjust as it's the tongue that causes the teeth to come loose when eating, which yes, I believe. So we'll see if it works now. I hope so. I have two reunions coming up and I don't want to be embarrassed by my teeth.

Surely your dentist can do something for you. I'm not really pleased with the partial and dental work I had a few months ago, they don't look as w ell and I would like, but I can eat so I guess I'm not too bad off. that's a lot of driving to see your dentist.

I'm on Medicaid and the only dentists that takes Medicaid are in Milwaukee. There aren't any in Brown County where I live. So it is a pain to go to the dentist, unless you have a great driver who makes you laugh the whole way there and back, which was the case yesterday. The dentist tightened the hook, so we'll see how that works with the Fixadent. It will be great if I can finally eat with them. He did say lower partials are the biggest problem.

That driver is the best. I've had others who just drive and don't talk to their passengers. It makes for a very boring ride. I take a book along just in case of that.
