Is it a fly, a plane, Superman or a cockroach?

I was writing at my laptop just a while ago when there was a hissing from a flying insect at the door between the kitchen and the dining room where I am. I looked up and to my eyes who don´t see much, it looked as it it could be either a beetle, a roach or a big fly. I saw that it was going into the kitchen and quickly slammed the door shut. I don´t think it was a beetle or a fly because it is not the right time of the year. It was too small to be Superman. So that left the roach and I don´t like them at all. The kitchen door will remain shut until tomorrow when Leticia comes. She is my Superwoman. I am only sorry because I was planning on stealing some salami. It´s ok, anyway. Better for my health and diet. Are there some insects that you don´t like at all? I mean, insects that are harmless?
