Omg got the news we were not wanting to hear again. The van is broke for the second time with in about 8 months of owning. We bought it off of my husbands mom and step dad. They said the van was worth $5,000 and they give us the care for $2,500 and we could pay $100 a week for the van till we paid it off with my husband school loan or tax retuned. Which we did in Febuary and haven't owned them anything since. Then the car over heated once during March and we had to get a bank loan of $2,500 to pay for a repair of $1,700. We are still paying our bank loan off every month from that. I don't think the bank will give us more money till that is paid off. To get the van fixed right now we have to pay $850 for darn fans and that before they can look at the pump part to see if their is even a block for the coolet. Good thing I still have the papers on the van for when we bought it so I can show them because they are lying. My husband step dad is lying he said they where offed $2,500 for the van and we owned them half of that. Lie one I got you buster. You call yourself a Christian man. Lie lie pants on fire. I just got paid today $300 and I have bills to pay and kids to feed. My goodness right now I watch to hit someone. But I'm not I don't know how but some hoe either we will fixes this mini van, have to trade our 1st car in or 3 I'm going to stick to the man where it counts and get my $2,500 back. I don't care if your family you lie to me and but my kinds in dangour and try to cover yourself you bet I'm going to go all Momma bear.

I'm sorry your dealing with that kind of junk. I know what it's like having things break, left and right, around you. It seems every time we get a step ahead, something requires replacing. Do you think he'll give you back the $2500?

@ShyBear88 We've had a lot of bad luck with cars, over the course of our marriage. We finally buckled and bought a "new" (to us) passenger van that had a 4 year warranty. It's great having the space and a car that has no issues...but I hate the large payments. And I have this sneaking suspicion that as soon as it's paid off and the warranty is gone, it'll start breaking down... Do you have a punching bag you can attack for awhile? It might help if you have something to hit...

At least our small ford we havmuch had to dish out money on like crazy. Once we had to pay $700 on it like 4 years ago and since then we had a $300 payment done one it. We haven't even spend nearly any where of how much it's worth. I'm hot about the van we are trying to find what to do which will be better to do. Ugh $850 is a lot of money when we combined to get her only make $600.
