When I started making paracord bracelets to help fund my Appalachian Trail hike I started with the basics then branched out to offer themed beads, compasses and metal trinkets. This meant more work but it almost completely guaranteed that you would have a unique bracelet that was completely functional in case paracord was needed.
The skulls are plastic with textured black detailing to them; because of the texturing they are going to last a lot longer than ones that simply have a design printed on them. The inside of the bead will accommodate thread / jute / cording, paracord etc up to3/16th of an inch. The holes are skull-to-neck so when you are using them they are going to have a non-typical presentation.
These are not heavy so they don't add much weight to bracelets or necklaces and so far I haven't had any of them crack or splinter once assembled. I purchase these through Century Novelty for six dollars a package (300 per pack) but there are price breaks for larger orders. Tese are easy to pick up and string but they are small so parental supervision is necessary when younger kids are using these
