Another day in the country!

We did the biggie this morning, grocery shopping, that's the hardest thing I'll do today. Got home and hit the garden - picked and washed green beans, squash and another dozen or more tomatoes.
Beans are cooked, squash is next and then I'll decide what to do with the tomatoes later. I'm almost tempted to put up a table at the road and sell some, but it's too darn hot and muggy to do that!
My husband just finished with the robot in the pool, so it's almost time to cool off and have fun.
What are you doing today?

We stayed at home yesterday and were lazy and went in the pool and then watched tv.

Just did an hour in the pool, that's enough for now - humidity is a killer.

You could always set up a little lean to with tomatoes and a few other things Then go back home and watch with your binoculars. When someone shows up go down and see what they want. Sort of lazy but a lot cooler.

@celticeagle We only have a few neighbors and they don't have gardens so they appreciate the things.

The problem is most people out here have their own gardens. We have a meeting tomorrow and will take some of the 'maters to that to give away

Our growing season starts a lot earlier than your does. We have three planting seasons here. We usually have garden lettuce well into mid-late October.

We canned some a few weeks ago, I also tried another method - freezing. We are running out of people to give them to!

I am thinking about making salsa, and cucumber relish. I need to get a move on, but your picture looked very familiar.
