~I Don't Belong On Stage~

For the retreat we are all expected to be in the pageant their doing. It's a pageant based on bad fashion trends. I am thinking of doing gothic for the pageant but I'm really not looking forward to that part at all. I just don't like to be the center of attention for ANY reason. Oh well, hopefully I can just get through it so I can enjoy the rest of the retreat.
Do you like being the center of attention on stage?

"Heather" my actual self does not like being on stage. When I was a clown, I was Garden Gerty. When I did product demonstrations, I was the "cookie lady" You can pick your fashion and not be Jennifer wearing a bad fashion mistake. You can be "the Goth Girl". That is how I managed.

@marsha32 They said anything goes so...Lol that's the one I picked. I used to dress that way when I was younger so I can probably still pull it off. Lol

I like it if I'm singing, but absolutely hate to speak in a crowd.
Remind yourself that most people are more worried about themselves than you so try to relax and enjoy it!

It depends. If I´m trying to achieve something, being the center of attention would benefit me more than not. If I´m not trying to attain anything, then, i just prefer to go unnoticed.

@Marilynda1225 I feel the same way but Pastor's wife said everyone should participate. Bleh. Not looking forward to it.
