Each time I write it

I have now lost a long descriptive narrative twice. I will write it in Word next time. Each time I write it, it is better, but will be too long for many of you. As I open my ears, I hear sounds that let me time travel, and I would take you with me. Would you like to come?

It is just what I remember about being a kid and summer at my grand parent's house. You could write back your similar memories,or such.

@sol_cee I decided not to put everything I remember in one place. It would just be too much. I did finally get the post up. I am curious about the Solomon Islands.

Sounds interesting but I have read several time traveling stories which were really bad.

@koopharper it just was what I remember about visiting my grand parent's farm as a kid. Not a fiction but a reminisce.

We are just going to Oklahoma, when I was a girl staying at my grandparents' farm. Just a hot August afternoon.

@annierose I now live in Kansas, which is a state just north of Oklahoma. My memories are about five hundred miles away from where I am living now. I have never had to have a visa to travel either.

@GardenGerty Wow! I have never been to any countries that require visa. It must be pretty exciting to be in Oklahoma.

I wrote my post in Word and pasted it in. It is just random sensory memories. It is funny how they never leave, even when we grow older.

@GardenGerty I know - I remember things from my childhood vividly too. I always write my posts elsewhere. So you've put that post up now? I'll go hunt it out.

I hate it when I lose a long post, and always swear I am going back to writing in notepad, I do for awhile, then get lazy.... and the cycle repeats itself

I never have randomly lost them for no reason before. Usually I hit a wrong key. I still do not write and copy it in on a regular basis. I think usually mine are short enough to sneak in.

@GardenGerty I dont often either, unless it is bigger than a "here is what I did today" post. The suddendeath poems are always in another form first, I do NOT want to rewrite those because i lost one

I did get that post up. By writing it in Word I was able to see that I was really putting too many memories into one post. I may do this more regularly.
