Have you ever noticed how slow time seems to pass when you are waiting? Waiting for news, waiting for someone, waiting in line...I am sure you know what I mean. Right now I am waiting for the hospital to call me with the scheduled time for my thyroid operation. I am supposed to hear today or tomorrow from them. It seems like time is slowly creeping alone. Now that I know I need my thyroid removed I am eager to get it over and done with and move on. So here I sit and wait for a call. I hope it comes soon and puts and end to my waiting. Meanwhile I'll be here off and on today communicating and commenting with everyone. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I know exactly how you feel. I don't know how many times I have had to wait for appointments for X-rays, MRI, referrals, etc. I hope you hear soon about your surgery.

I hope that the hospital calls you soon. I am also waiting for the hospital call for my cataract surgery. I hate the waiting time too.

Abby actually they took the decision out of my hands and said I could not wait to see if they could shrink it. I received the call, now I have some testing to go through between now and the 25th.

When you think about it, it's very true. Time does kind of seem to slow down when you're waiting for something. It's odd when you think about. Can't help but wonder why it seems to be this way.

Dominique time slows down when you are waiting for something good but sometimes when you are waiting for something bad it seems to speed up, unless it's news about when you will be going for an operation.

I think the best remedy for the agony that waiting brings is "not to wait for it". Just do something interesting to occupy your mind instead of waiting for the news. You'll find that time flies and soon before you know it the news has arrived. Hope the it's good news. Best of luck.

Yes, when you need things in life, you find waiting is hard. and when you don't need things in life time goes quickly.

Thyroid operation is very simple. It can be cured with medicines also. But, the doctor might have found that it is necessary. O.K. All the best. Come early and meet us on myLot. We all will be waiting for you.
