I have seen some people recommending oil pulling for a good health. As soon as one get up from the bed, should take a spoon of refined oil particularly sunflower oil and keep it in the mouth and should go on pooling it with pulling. After 5 or 10 minutes he should spit out. They say it works nicely on the nervous system, teeth, and gums. It also gives a glow to the face. Has anyone of you tried it?

I have tried this before and it did help. I am busy so much lately that I haven't had time.

I've been oil pulling for 3 years now. The very obvious effect is it removes coffee stains on my teeth. I'm a coffee addict, and my dentist used to clean my teeth every 3 months. She advised me to use whitening toothpaste and also stop drinking coffee, but I can't live without coffee. She said cleaning my teeth every 3 months is not adviseable for it will make my teeth sensitive. I surprised her one day because all stains were removed. I'm looking forward to that glowing face I never noticed any like that.

It is the first time that I have ever heard about this method. I don't dare to try it with oil in the mouth. I usually brush my teeth and then drink a glass of water before eating my breakfast. Take care.
