Spoiler alerts – 2000 AD – 2004 A terrorist in Megacity One gets into trouble when he falls in love with a vivacious university scholar he chats to in a bar he is about to blow up. He saves her life, but she realizes that he was responsible for mass murder and finds herself interrogated as a suspect before she falls for his lies about being set up by other terrorists. Her proximity to him and efforts to talk him into giving himself up gets them pursued by both terrorists who think he has gone soft, and by Judge Dredd, though he has little to do but watch the tragedy unfold. A timely topical look at the deadly appeal of terrorism. This is a warm up story for the ‘Total War’ arc to follow a few issues later. Arthur Chappell

Judge Dredd always made me sad, living in such a black and white world would be...lonely and uncomfortable
