The new furniture arrived yesterday afternoon and, wow, does it make a world of difference. The couch we purchased is a huge upgrade over the one we had. Much more comfortable. In fact, my wife and I ended up staying up later than planned because we didn't want to get off the couch to go to bed. Picking one that has reclining seats was the right choice. No more need for foot stools and now, when my kids want something, I can use the "sorry, the couch is in the reclining position," excuse (not that it actually works).
