I have to say that many people gave blessed me in my life that it would be wrong to keep them to myself. When I was 16 I tried for my driver permit, and I didn't get it. Das had a boat of a car, but we practice some more and I learned to parallel park and the 3 point turn. Dad then helped me study to learn the written test. I passed. Then when my school offered driver education I was ready because it was time and I was first time sign up. Then I tried for my licence send I failed again because their was a decal on the back èindi, so dad took the decal off and I tried again and I passed. I feel like a bad parent because I didn't know how to keep her safe while driving, and now she has had a permit for years and up is afraid try to get her living License, .

I learned to drive out of curiosity when I was only 10 years old. I was curious about the shift stick and so i asked our driver about it and he told me how it worked. Then saw three pedals and was curious about it too. My questions never ended till my mom's cousin showed me and made me drive. Passed the first time i took the license. Now my son is 12 and he seem to be not interested in driving at all. But I believe it's best that he be at the legal age before he takes the road.

I remember the car I had to use when I took my first driver's test. It was a long station wagon. So hard to parallel park. I made it though. We have to have faith in our kids to be able to do such things. Can't protect them from everything in life.

My husband taught all three of our children to drive, and actually me too because I was 18 when I got my license but had never had very much driving experience. They all became good drivers. However, my older son failed his first driving test when he was 16 and didn't have the confidence to take it again until he was 18 and getting ready to go away to college. I also have a nephew who had a minor traffic mishap when he had his permit and was afraid to drive for years after that, but he eventually gained enough confidence to get his regular license. Your daughter will too, in time.

At least you passed . I got my Oregon license and passed with no question missed. That was a surprise to me.
